Questions about cost
Short answers to common questions.
How much does a fractional CMO cost in Italy?
Fractional CMO engagements in Italy typically range from €1,500 to €12,000+ per month depending on scope and time commitment. My rate starts from €300 per day, depending on the project.
Is there a minimum engagement length?
Engagements are typically structured month-to-month or as an ongoing retainer, with no long lock-in required by default. The right length depends on your goals, and is agreed during the discovery call.
What does the starting day rate cover?
The starting rate covers strategic work on your project. Hands-on execution, team and agency coordination, and market-entry project management for international companies add days to the scope.
How is this different from a marketing agency?
An agency executes campaigns you have already decided on. A fractional CMO sets the strategy, owns the results, and can coordinate your existing agencies and freelancers so their work adds up to a coherent plan.
Do you offer a trial period before a longer engagement?
Yes. Most new engagements start with a focused first month covering a scoped project, such as a go-to-market plan or a positioning refresh, so you can see how the working relationship fits before committing to a longer retainer.
What happens if my needs change during the engagement?
Scope can flex in either direction. If priorities shift, for example moving from brand positioning work into a product launch, we revisit the plan together and adjust the time commitment and rate accordingly. Most clients review scope at the start of each month.
